A rare and collectible Omega Seamaster 30 military watch manufactured in 1960. The caseback has original engravings - P.A.F. (Pakistan Air Force), Serial Number: 17527194, and Waterproof. A military order supplied to the Pakistan Air Force - a real find for connoisseurs of vintage military watches. The watch may have participated in the second war between Pakistan and India in 1965.Omega supplied watches to the Pakistani Air Force in the 1950s and 1960s. These models were ordered directly by the government and were part of the military equipment. The P.A.F. engraving confirms that this is a military contract piece and not a civilian version. Waterproof (NOT tested for water resistance).This is a manually wound watch with a stainless steel case and black dial.The hands of the watch are original and exactly match the factory specifications of Omega P.A.F., in a strict military style with luminescent inserts. This enhances the historical and collectible value of the watch. The luminescent composition of the hands and markers may have been replaced in the watch. In some cases, military watches (especially contract watches like the P.A.F.) have been serviced at Omega, where the luminescent compound was replaced with a modern, but original style, for better legibility.I did not make any changes or restoration of the watch. The watch came to me as it is in the photos and video.Excellent military kit and original working condition, with minor signs of use. The watch may have some signs of cosmetic wear due to wear and storage.
